Hey guys,
I’m wondering what your experiences spotting with APRS2SOTA are. I was on W1/GM-221 as WB1Z today. I sent a spot and was digipeated right away. I then checked the spots when I got down and saw there was a 15+ minute delay before the spot posted. By then Jim (KK1W) had hopped on CW as NE1SJ already. My question is: is this typical?

My APRS2SOTA Log shows that it received, sent the spot to SotaWatch and sent APRS Ack back to you at ‘2015-01-03 17:25:28’, which matches the time shown on SotaWatch.
If there was any delay then that presumably was the time it took the APRS message to propagate via the APRS network via whichever European server my system was linked to at the time.
