In preparation for the big overnight walk tomorrow, and in the mission to adjust my sleeping patterns to facilitate it, I am about to walk up Shining Tor G/SP-004.

Easier than I thought! Qualified it (4 QSOs) in quarter of an hour just after 3am local time, on 2m FM with a handheld and rubber duck!

Gun G/SP-013 and The Cloud G/SP-015 to follow…
We had a sort connect this morning about 05:30 BST. M7HFD/M just outside of Malvern Worcestershire. I think you was on G/SP-013. I was very impressed with the QSO / DX. Around 80 miles not sure.

I’ll be heading out at midnight tonight for this crazy overnight walk-to-work stunt, which will include a SOTA activation of The Cloud G/SP-015.
Really hoping that some chasers are going to be there when I call, probably some time between 3.30 and 5am local (0230-0400z)!
