For amortizing the fuel price increase of these weeks, I tend to activate two summit per time. Last Sunday it was the turn of Cornagera and Cimone di Margno. Fate has it that there was a Italian alpine troops assembly. I enjoyed of free parking. I climbed up along ski slope all the way to reach Cimone di Margno, I continued losing 200 meter drop and then I walked the ridge until Cornagera.
I fixed the ten meter wire in orizontal and I worked in 30-20 cw and ssb.
the weather changed quickly, some dark clouds stationed near the summit. I feared for lightning… I packed up and I climbed down…
I was doubtful about the conditions for activate the second summit… but the weather has been clement… I reached the summit, I tried to turn on the handheld but the battery was low so I worked again 30-20mt cw-ssb with orizonatal wire.
I passed in Qrt at 14:00 local and I climb down to parking, along the path I notice a strange red dragonfly…
