Alberta (VE6 land) opens Provincial Parks

Hi folks,
I thought people would like to know that Alberta is starting to ease travel restrictions. In particular the Provincial Parks and public lands are allowing vehicle access after May 1st.
So SOTA activations are clearly allowed if the rules around physical distancing, use of common equipment, travel in vehicles and such are followed.
Just in case people think this is a very rash decision, Alberta started taking precautions early, and has in place a good program to test people and trace contacts. The health experience over the last few weeks has been better than the early models suggested.

So I will be on a hill-top on Monday May 4th, doing an activation using FT-8.
I plan to operate on multiple bands, 40, 30, 20 and 17m.
And I hope to contact many of you.

Also I want to add, there is still large amounts of snow on the eastern slopes of the Canadian Rockies. I for one am tired of snowshoeing this spring.
