Hello
It happened several times: When uploading an ADIF log, not all QSOs are shown in the “Verify” list. Once, a single QSO (the last one in the ADIF) was missing, in another case the last 3 QSOs were missing. Their lines are shown in the verification list, but empty. My ADIFs are generated by the Ham2K Portable Logger:
ADIF for DL/HB9BRJ/P: SOTA at DM/BW-156 Lindenberg on 2026-09-30
<ADIF_VER:5>3.1.5 PROGRAMID:21Ham2K Portable Logger PROGRAMVERSION:726.7.10
Deleting the incomplete upload and uploading the very same ADIF file again did solve the problem in all cases so far. To me this looks more like a hiccup during the upload and not a syntax error in the ADIF file.
First I wanted to submit this issue on the SOTA Contact page, but no matter what browser I am using, clicking the “Send Message” button shows “No captcha provided”. No captcha is shown on the page.
Thank you for looking into this issue.

I just visited the contact page now and the captcha was there. I pressed F5 to reload the page and this time the captcha was missing. Every subsequent F5 reloads the page and the captcha is missing. This is on Firefox 149 Linux.
I then used the “Clear recent history” option and only selected the “Temporary cached files and pages” option. Another F5 and the page reloaded and the captcha was there. Another F5 and it vanished. Clear just cached page and files and F5 and it comes back. This is repeatable for me.
It’s not a fix and this has been looked at a number of times. But at least clearing the cache does let me get a captcha.
Pressing Shift + F5 (or Ctrl + F5) in your web browser performs a hard refresh, which reloads the current webpage while completely bypassing your local cache.
The captcha problem is solved!
The empty QSO lines after an ADIF upload are still an open issue.
I found recently that when the last few lines are only partially displayed, just hitting validate log reveals the missing contacts and then the Validate is replaced by Upload log option (unless there were actual errors). I also found that some contacts marked initially as duplicates were processed correctly after Validate Log was selected.
I think my chaser log is finally up to date. There were a few years where my activations were uploaded reliably but not chaser contacts. Going back through them you find all sorts of embarrassing typos. I’ve also got it all in Log4om and thence in LOTW too. Many sota ops use LOTW and I have a lot of confirmed contacts now.
