Hi Michael
Mount Collins on the Appalachian Trail ( Mount Collins - Wikipedia ) has a prominence of 465ft/142m, so does not qualify as a SOTA summit.
Nevertheless, there are a number of valid summits along the trail, and lots of SOTA chasers in North America and Europe who would dearly love to work them. Good luck with the hike and associated radio operations.

Sorry, I did not understand the difference between prominence and height - I was able to get a break down of the two and now understand it better.
Thanks for the help!
Michael
