A tasty Morsle...

Hello.

I hadn’t heard about an app called Morsle until yesterday. For anyone unfamiliar it is similar to Wordle but focuses on Morse Code.

I’ve primarily used Morse Mania (with paid Pro license) to learn and it helped me pass my CW exam last year. I’m trying to make more of a push on my head copy and ICR and was suprised when Morsle reported I was copying at 30wpm.

For what it’s worth, I switch the keyboard to Qwerty so you don’t see the dits and dahs per the default keyboard layout. My send is fairly handy, but head copy has always been a struggle. Not sure how accurate Morsle is, but it has certainly surprised me anyway in the whole head copy at 30 wpm!

How do you find it? Is it of any use to you with your CW skills?

just had a play. i in by no means am a cw operator. i do wish though, but too lazy to spend enough time to learn lol. i just tried that and given the number of attempts i managed todays 5 letter word at 30wpm but only due to the fact i could concentrate on each letter for each time it played and i could enter the letters as i thought i had them and guess them so like wordle it turns green when the letter is correct. Quite good idea but i can’t read morse at 30wpm. i can read the odd letter at 30wpm when its played multiple times
