I know somone who is currently building one! Someone who values the peace and quiet on summits and prefers not to have the tranquility disturbed by too many calls I guess!

Last summer, VE2ELW and I thought putting a summit on the air with 1KW spark station!
The problem was if somebody asked which frequency? We would reply, well, the 20 meters band … the entire 20 meters band!
