Been meaning to give you a call Karl and today when we all missed Jack was a prime opportunity.
Thanks for the report and WAB contact perhaps if you have 2mtrs ssb we can do it on that band and I can claim a tidal square and your square for the vhf challenge.
If you want a card will pop one in the post as I am no longer an rsgb member.

Thanks again Don
No 2m this side sorry can’t help there.
Never heard that one before Tidal WAB square, heard of coastal ones mentioned.

And it was a pleasure to have some chats with fellow chasers

Karl

Same difference Karl with tidal and coastal for wab awards but I refer to them as tidal because they do stretch in land from the estuaries and can be no where near the coast.
Better not pursue this going off topic from sota. Don.G0RQL.

The planetary k-index appears to have jumped up to 6 this morning. HF propagation has taken a serious tumble as a consequence. Maybe we will be looking to another aurora later to day? Who knows?

At least the A index is not in the 100’s like last time.
Hopefully not to much effecting the Sota-ing to much like last few days.
