Great stuff! Congratulations Rod
Hi Rod, hearty congratulations for the 4th MG achievement, it is always great to hear you and Vikki activating and to get to number 4 MG is a testimony of your commitment to all things SOTA.

Congratulations Rod. An amazing achievement.
Congratulations Rod M0JLA. Despite what Gerald MW0WML has said, I am, as usual, trailing some way behind you with no chance of catching up. I tried to blame this on your starting SOTA some months before I had a callsign but ‘my statistics’ has proved you’d only got 27 before my emergence on the world (well almost - perhaps 60 miles in all directions) stage in December 2010. Your third MG was 3 years ago but, without lockdowns, it would possibly have been swifter. Please don’t give up now - I would like to get there as well and there are always other targets to aim for.

Well done and congratulations Rod, very good start to a H.N.Y. 73 Don.G0RQL.
Well done Rod. An amazing achievement. Always good to talk to you and Viki.
HNY to both of you.

Well done Rod. It is always a pleasure to have a contact with you on the bands. All the best to you and Viki for achieving the 5K.

Well done Rod !
With typical modesty, you didn’t even mention it in our S2S QSO yesterday !
Cheers

Thank you all for the congratulations and kind words. In turn I have to thank you all for the contacts that have generated the points. In that respect Don, G0RQL, with 709 QSOs, and Allan, GW4VPX, with 670 QSOs some of which result from my chases of his activations, stand out - so extra thanks to them.
I was disappointed not to reach this target during 2022 but regular chasers will have noticed a lack of activity during December. We have both suffered post Covid lethargy so were very pleased indeed to get up GW/SW-041 on Monday. I still have the elusive 500 completes to pursue as well as another bash at completing GW/NW, having at last re-completed G with a visit to Cornwall.
It was SOTA that caused Viki, M6BWA/P, to get her licence 12 years ago. We have been hill walkers for a very long time and so SOTA was an excellent motivation to visit some different hills. Some of them very different, interesting and visited many times since, others not even interesting once and some definitely never again.
Looking forward to many more QSOs during 2023.
73,
Rod
