Depends who you mean by ‘us’!
The frequencies around 144.100 are used quite a bit for 2m CW as it is far enough away from the crud generated by (ancient) computer clocks which plagues the calling channel. I hate to think what handhelds they are using if they need 25kHz channels too.
Still, won’t worry those of us ‘Up North’ as I can’t hear anything south of me without auroral reflection or a good bounce off Goatfell
