I’m active in amateur radio emergency communication, and hold Amateur Extra license K6WRU.

I love to hike and backpack, and I’ve been working with Boy Scouts to teach lighter, more enjoyable packing. Gossamer Gear encouraged me to continue doing this, and my trail ambassador bio tells my backpacking story.
