Today I received my new ultralight SOTA Rig the ATS-4, the Kit in SMT (surface mount technology) from KD1JV Steven Weber. I have to clean the magnifiying glass and mount the fine soderingtip. So I hope to cuagn in 2011 with the ATS-4.

Well done Guido. That is going to be an excellent SOTA rig working from 80m to 15m (or 17m)…perfect!
The second batch sold out so quickly I didn’t get a chance to order one! However I’m still happy with my PFR-3 from the same stable.

I used solder paste, hot air tool and raclette plate for the soldering of ATS3B. I have text only in Finnish, but the photos are in ham wiki

That was actually lead free soldering, though my intention was not to make such an environmental friendly construction
