Watch out when you are on 60m

I was attempting to complete an 60m SSB QSO with OK/SQ9MDF/P (OK/OL-016) this morning at 1015z and a station passed on Leszek’s 52 report to me - it happens from time to time… In a civil way I asked the station not to pass on the report as the contact would then not be bona fide. The station who said his callsign was DK5DR (Particulars withheld on QRZ.COM) then proceeded to lecture me and anyone listening that contests were not permitted on 60m. A fellow chaser witnessed this and intervened and tried to explain that it wasn’t a contest, but just an exchange of reports for SOTA, but it didn’t make any difference to DK5DR he carried on talking.

I discounted the contact and left the frequency with DK5DR talking to himself as he continued his lecture… Watch out for him - I suggest giving him a wide berth!
