CQ SOTA de TM8AB soon on the air.

Hello folks, as soon as possible i’ll use TM8AB from summits around the city of NICE in South of France
to remeber the first Qso between USA and France.

Hope to write your call in the log (CW and SSB)

Gerald F6HBI

What a shame we didn’t know about this early we could have moved the SOTA Transatlantic event to coincide with it.

Good luck with this event - perhaps you could contact David Mania (K1MO) to see if he can make a contact in rememberance of 1MO?

May be we can manage the Sota Transatlantic event for the 100th years celebration…

Merci, Gerald, pour le QSO CW tout à l’heure dans la bande de 40m.
Je vous souhaite une très bonne activation-celebration et beaucoup de success avec des nombreux QSOs trans-Atlantiques.
Mes meilleurs 73,

Thank you for the nice S2S today!

Merci Guru,

Avec Catalin F4HOD nous avons pris beaucoup de plaisir ce dimanche avec TM8AB,
dont 5 Qso transatlantiques.

Ciao Fabio,

Abiamos fate uno grande S2S.
It was very cold and a bit difficult to keep keying.
Here is F4HOD who was also on summit (20m and 17m)

Nice view. Thanks for the contact.

Hello friends, today was the last of TM8AB.
I have to thank all chasers for the 331 Qso
from 4 différents summits.
It was not so easy as temperature was very cold.
Minus 8 degres Celcius with the keyer and pen in hands.
I did love the CW pile-up and have been trying SSB to give a chance
also to non-cw.
For those that want a paper QSL, it will be ok via the buro.
Best 73 and cu from summits, Gerald
(and also Catalin F4HOD)
