Thanks to all OMs that have accompanied me in my F/DK2JK/p-SOTA-activities during my holiday in the Vosges, France. The mountains F/VO-xxx are even a real challenge to the backpackers (e.g. Rocher de Mutzig F/VO-022), others are easily reached by car (e.g. Champ du Feu F/VO-019). All in all, it surprises me that these mountains have been activated so rare, they are situated in beautiful countryside, offering magnificent views.

Yes the ‘Vosges’ is a nice region, such as Black Forest.
Unfortunatly, most french hams are living in flat areas, and applying the P150 rule to these regions discourages participation to SOTA because they have hundred km to drive before reaching a summit.
One rule which could be ‘smoothed’…
