SOTA Webmaster role

SOTA Webmaster position

At SOTA we are looking at streamlining the way we develop and present data for publication of the Association Reference Manuals (ARM) which currently duplicates, in part, what is already available from the SOTA database shown on the SOTA website. We are considering using direct web entry for the text data part of the ARM to the SOTA website and would be interested to hear from anyone with web publishing experience to undertake this role. Good writing skills are required and web programming skills are a plus.
You should ideally have experience of working with the web software “Orckestra”, previously known as “Composite C1”. https://cms.orckestra.com/
As with all SOTA positions, it promotes the SOTA Award programme, the amateur radio hobby and encourages wider participation and use of amateur radio for the whole amateur radio community to enjoy.
This is a voluntary and unpaid position and open for all to apply detailing how their own skills and experience are suited for the role.
Equal Opportunities are offered to all that apply.
If you wish to be considered please forward a brief letter to Rob Harwood G0HRT, the Associations Manager via the SOTA website Summits on the Air
or address an Email/attachment letter directly to rob (@) g0hrt.co.uk
All applicants will be acknowledged.
