We (M6BWA and M0JLA) are staying on the LLeyn Peninsula from Sunday 18 - 22 September (M0JLA may be around for a couple of days before in NW). We hope to get a visit to Bardsey Island and will post the date the ferry is booked nearer the time. Also planning to visit Mynydd Anelog (NW-077) which was not around on our last visit to this area! I will be operating on 2m fm and 70cm (not used this here before so hope to do some of the other 1-pointers around but I think getting 4 contacts may be a ‘bit’ of a challenge!!) M0JLA will be on HF (60m, 40 and 80 probably), weather permitting, and hoping that someone will be able to hear him. If not, he’ll join me on 2m fm so please be prepared for a second contact when chasing.
We also have some NW higher peaks on the ‘wanted’ list (eg NW- 014, 020, 024) but doubt that weather and legs will allow us to accomplish everything in the time available. We should be able to put up alerts from our base. Thanks for your help.
