SOTA Talk at TDARS

Hello All

Just to let people know that both David M0YDH and I are due to give a presentation on SOTA on Wednesday the 13th of June from 20:00 (Local) at the Telford and District Amateur Radio Society. I will also mention WOTA and HEMA to drum up interest for those schemes as well.

I have given the talk before to the Shrewsbury club and it was well received so lets hope both David and I have the same success.

I am sure the TDARS club will be delighted top have more SOTA enthusiasts at the talk. In addition it will be nice to have some SOTA faces in the crowd!

Hope it goes well for you both, nice to see someone out there spreading the word and I am sure there will be quite a few interested in getting out portable after the talk, just need the right incentive.

sounds great, I wonder if you would be interested in a talk in our local club?

We have a number of would be SOTAers that just need a tiny push to get into it.
