While doing my online check-in, I was amazed to see this text on the dangerous goods page -
Please note: self-balancing electronic devices such as hoverboards, mini segways, airwheels and solowheels must not be carried neither as carry-on nor as checked bagggage. Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices are prohibited to be turned on or charged on board of all Lufthansa Group aircrafts. It is also prohibited to stow them in checked baggage.
So they can be carried in the cabin but not turned on or charged there.
This is a serious problem for Samsung!! I guess people owning them, can’t even give them away!
