Has there been any thought to adding a RSS feed for the spots. Then you could use a free service like peekfeed.com to push the spots to your phone via SMS.
It would be very handy on the hills.

There is already an RSS feed ISTR. They are displayed on several other sites and I guess they are using RSS?

Indeed… Or if you are inclined towards birdsong, you could follow “SOTAwatch” on Twitter to get the spots.
