Regions and summits

Being working on new ‘F’ summits lists, It would be nice if some region managers could have a look to their “surface/summits” ratio. I think it could be useful to compare regions.

In France, we have 11 different regions with P150, and the ratios are
AB = 32 (i.e. 1 summit every 32 square km)
AM = 31
CR = 73
JU = 202
MC = 348
NO = 3375
PE = 86
PO = 45
SO = 17593
VL = 3537
VO = 332

We can easily see that VL, SO and NO are very, very poor regions, and accordingly, there are very few hams involved in SOTA program there.

Now there’s a coincidence, Alain, I’ve been working out figures on the same basis for all associations, but I call it “summit density”!
