Received my Tokyo Hy-Power HL30v today, nice and tidy little amp for vhf FM or SSB, not far off the same dimensions as the 817, its not quite as wide, but very light!! Will try it out tonight for a test but it will get a proper test on the next activation.
Anyone else got or used one of these?

Hi Tim I got it on eBay for about £40
The tech specs, 100x30x158 @ 526grams.
5watts in 30 out!
I will run it off a 3s 4.4Ah battery.
