That indeed is an interesting antenna - it’s like an OCF but instead to being a total length of a half a wavelength, it’s a full wave long it seems. Should be easy enough to create and test.

Just had a look back along this thread. What a happy hunting ground 20m was four years ago. One or two people are saying things are looking up, but DX into the Pacific is still tough to find.

Managed to work Ernie VK3DET short path this morning, from G/SP-013 Gun at 1135z.

I took a look at the HB9SL VP2E ( Effective antenna for QRP, at 14 MHz. ) antenna, translated the documentation, created an Excel calculator, built one and after several days of waiting for the snow to clear a little, actually got around to trimming and testing it in the garden today.
