I’ve just posted my activations for tomorrow. I don’t have 4WD so I hope road condx allow me to drive through Wharfedale to Buckden. If I am OK for time after I have finished on HF I will call on 2m FM from NP-031 for any one needing a QSO there, I will use my rucksack special but as a testwith a more power than I get from the handheld as I will use the FT-857.
Dodd Fell looks an inhospitable hill, I haven’t been there before so no guarantees of 2m activity from there. I will probably have had enough after an hour or so of CW.
I hope to make lots of QSOs tomorrow, I will be warming up the Mulligatawny soup and filling the food flask at around 5.00am before setting out.
