Just a quick look at listsofjohn.com, shows that Enchanted Rock does not qualify for SOTA, even under the P100 requirement. It has a prominence of 255 ft. Sorry Ted.

No, it is something unofficial. It just means “New pages on my summit website”. Although occasionally, such a new page has actually coincided with an official new summit in the SOTA programme.

Apparently you can get things like this listed in the GMA programme, which I have learned today doesn’t have any minimum prominence requirements or any officials checking new submissions. Although I do suspect that what I have been told cannot be correct!
