New Intermediate License

#1

Good Afternoon All,

Just thought i would let you all know i now have Intermediate License 2E0MDJ

Passed the exam on Tuesday 27th November and after a slight issue with Ofcom’s Website application system and after a couple of telephone calls this morning all has been sorted

It was really nice that the first contact with the new Call was G1STQ/P on G/WB-003 Stiperstones - Thanks John!

And well done on planning the advance, I am sure you will ace it?

What call would you go for?? M0LGS or would father be willing to give up the G1???

In reply to M3WDS:

Congratulations Matt - well done on passing the Intermediate Exam.

So does this mean you’ll be on the air twice as much, seeing you have two calls? I might get to work you more often if that is the case.

I might let him have the G1 (even though it makes it look like he has been licensed longer than I have).

In reply to G0LGS:

Hi Stewart

Nothing wrong with that!! My G8 makes me look like i have been licenced 2 years longer than my father’s G4!

My old man said it was somewhat surreal hearing me use his call sign for the first time and of course have a QSO with him.
