ND7PA - Taking time to heal

Guys,
Its maybe strange to share such personal news with guys I hardly know,
save our common interest in this quirky pursuit. However, participating
in SOTA has brought me more enjoyment of both ham radio and of the
outdoors than anything ever has. You all have a part in that.

In mid April, my indolent lymphoma mutated to an aggressive form. It has
really knocked me sideways. I am in intensive treatment now and will need
to put most all my energies there.

My plan is to fight this with all my strength. Survive the treatment.
Stay healthy. Be outside whenever, however possible. Savor every moment
of life, and be filled with gratitude for all I have enjoyed.

You won’t be hearing me on the summits anytime soon. I’ll chase as time
and energy permit.

Take care to all,
Roger

Stay strong Roger, sending you positive thoughts for a healthy recovery.

Dear Roger,
I’ve chased you 5 times while you were activating from W7O and I’m looking forward to chasing you again as soon as possible.
Now, you need to do what you need to do and I deeply hope you’ll have the physical and spiritual strength to overcome this hard time. Let me send you my kindest thoughts and positive energy to help you on the fight.
Best wishes and CU AGN SN.
