Mynydd y Cwm NW-076

Thanks to the chasers who gave me a call today and Tom M1EYP for the summit to summit contact. Some lively sota pile-ups occurring on 40m CW where band conditions seemed in pretty good shape.

Video of the route I took

Nice short walk to summit through pretty woodland. Plenty of trees for antenna support.

Thanks for contact and the heads up on this one Roger. I hope to have a go myself on Tuesday if the WX holds up so the video is useful. The Internet failed on this one due to it having been ignored re: its previous sub-Marilyn status.

Roger,
Thanks for putting that short movie on. Gives me an idea of what I would be up against if I tried it.
Well done, thanks for the activation even though I did’nt actually hear you.
Suffer from S3-5 noise at times.

Steve, Kevin,
You’re welcome, the video will not win any prizes for its presentation but I just wanted to let others know what the route up was like. Its a nice and easy short walk, ideal for a family stroll or if an activator wasn’t looking for anything too strenuous.

The lanes around Cwm can seem like a maze though!

Look forward to working you both from the summit,
