Curiously, I was out in Kenya a couple of months ago, and had a chat with an old-timer who told me he’d taken a VHF radio up Mt. Kenya to Point Lenana (16354ft/4985m) many years ago, and made at least one successful QSO from the point. His chief problem had been keeping the radio’s batteries warm enough to function.
Hello guys!
At first tnx for all best wishes and congrats. Today i finaly found an internet coffe here in Chamonix.
All expedition goes perfectly and after 15hrs we were safely back in the valley.
We start ascent at Coll du Midi and traverse Mont Blanc group, becouse of the very strong wind we decide to descent on other side of the mountain.
