Many thanks Dave & Peter, also Fritz on the spots, and the many who passed their congratulations during the activation via the key or the mike.
The weather was a bit grim, worse towards the end of the activation, but it was still nice to use the 817 in anger at last after its long spell in ‘hospital’, and good to be back to full wkg cndx on both 40 CW and 2 FM.
So there we have it. 100th activation of The Cloud. 500th SOTA activation. I expect I will be going to the gym for swim and workout before and after work more regularly now. It’s certainly warmer in there!
Thanks for the great turn out today. 30 contacts - 13 on 40 CW (6 DXCCs) abd 17 on 2 FM (2 DXCCs). Great to contact all the EU SOTA friends again after the lay off.
