Liechtenstein joins SOTA

We are pleased to announce that Liechtenstein (HB0) will be joining SOTA with effect from 1st May 2008. Although it is just a small Association, it will fill a gap in SOTA’s coverage of the Alpine region. There are, at least initially, just eleven summits in a single region, numbered from HB0/LI-001 to HB0/LI-011, all conforming to a prominence value of 150m or more.

Our thanks to the Association Manager, Egon HB0RER, for his hard work in bringing Liechtenstein into the SOTA family.

Hi Fritz

Due to other MT commitments (we all have a life outside SOTA!!) the Liechtenstein ARM, along with the more imminent Poland and Finland ARMs, has not yet been uploaded to the website. Please accept our apologies for that.

Hi Les,

My article on SOTA in Finnish ‘Radioamatoori’ should come out on April 1. I was refering to the OH SOTA ARM on the international web pages in that article. I will be next week in Italy/Torino. Luckily we have some support from SM - one chaser already registered to the OH region. Myself I do not know if I should move to the OH or stay in F. In the beginning I was in HB9, when there was not yet SOTA in F.

Jaakko, you are always welcome in F, but I understand that OH is your country…!
It would be a pleasure to ‘fight’ (like gentlemen of course) for first place activator… !
