Thanks for the kind remarks folks. I dread to think on the miles driven and walked, or the cost involved, but with 3 continents and umpteen associations activated in 2018 it’s probably better that I don’t go there 
I like Allan’s title “if ONLy”, because I only realised on December 28th that I was so close to the record. Had I known earlier or hadn’t been grounded with sciatica in January and February then my aging legs may well have got a bit more torture to get a few extra points!
