Botley Hill is one of those summits with a huge activation area but no obvious pleasant places to operate from. I only re-visit it because it’s my nearest summit. The car park I usually favour is just beyond the other end of the activation area at TQ383547 (or near enough) where there is at least a view, though it’s rather spoiled by the noise from the M25…
