That gave me an idea for a special activity day… until I remembered the Welsh had raided the borders and stolen our G/WB-001. I think a mass night time raid with shovels is required to reinstate it to its former glory.

Hi all,
Just home and looking at todays SOTA activity.
It seems that I made a mistake in self spotting my activation on 24mhz.
I was on G/SC-010 NOT G/SE-001.
I started on 10mhz and self spotted correctly for G/SC-010.
I had put the spots for G/SC-010 in my phone before I left home but as my local summit is G/SE-001 I have these in my phone all the time.
In my haste to self spot when QSY to 24mhz I selected the G/SE-001 spot by mistake.
I was keen to be quick as I had left my XYL and Shortie the disabled dog back in the parking spot.
Sorry for my mistake.
David G3RDQ
