First SOTA activation a success

I had good luck with 42 contacts on 20 meters today. I was operating from DL/BE-050 Jochberg. I used a Buddipole antenna and one of their 4S2P batteries. I started out with a little less power, but the band conditions weren’t great, and so I was at 100 watts for 95% of the contacts. That battery is incredible. After 2 hours I packed up due to thunderstorms headed my way. Thanks to everyone and thanks for the spots G6MZX and G4OBK. I posted 9 photos on the flicker site. Beautiful day!
