Find other summits: within 5 | 10 | 25 km of this

#1

I am presuming that this useful feature is intended for the final version of SW2. I seem to remember that as well as finding all the summits within a certain distance of a summit, in ranking order of distance, that there is a way to do this from any particular grid reference. It certainly seems that the underlying code is able to do that anyway. I can’t remember how to do it though. I tried enter a grid ref into the “Browse for a summit” window, but it was not recognised.

Can you remind me Jon, or am I “remembering” things that have never actually happened?

Just edit the address to include your required gid ref and distance.

In reply to MM3NCM:

I think that it is not currently available during the migration process. Jon has it in his extensive “to do” list.

I too am looking forward to the return of this feature, it’s now amongst the “No. 1 priorities” in the to-do list so should be back with us soon!!
