I have now done my 5. and possibly last activation on madeira. Today, the 1 point summit Pico do Castanho was my target. The way was incredibly long, heavy and bad. After 2.5 hours I was finally at the destination. Unfortunately, only a few views here. With the first call, the pileup began. I have reached 36 stations from Europe, USA and Canada.This was a compensation for the not so nice hike.I would like to thank all the chasers.
I worked with 50 to 90 watts and a dipole at 5m height only. Only 20m - At 40m the last days only 1 contact.
