Brecon Beacons from Tomorrow (11-12th March)

I’m planning two days activating a number of summits in the Brecon Beacons, mostly on 2m FM, but wondered if anyone else will be activating hills in the area for some S2S contacts?

I usually just turn up and hear some other SOTA stations on 2m FM but thought I’d check ahead this time.

I’m making the most of the winter bonus season and the fact my YL is away with work :smile:

GW/SW-009 Mynydd Troed
GW/SW-015 Mynydd Llangorse

Saturday’s Plan

GW/SW-013 Tor Y Foel
GW/SW-011 Sugar Loaf
GW/SW-014 Mynydd Carn-y-cefn
GW/SW-012 Coity Mountain

This will be mostly VHF as I have already activated these summits on HF.

Sorry we couldn’t complete yesterday Martin when you were /m, you were initially a 41 and I had your callsign but then after that you faded away and barely opened the squelch :frowning: I’m guessing you moved into a lower area.

It was a bit chilly Karl, but I was really quite toasty inside the tent and sleeping bag, the bottle of gin also helped :smile:
