Check out the short bit on SOTA on the arrl homepage:
and www.arrl.org
a great push for SOTA, my only complaint is that I was called an activist instead of Region Manager or something.
ARRL has over 150,000 members…
The story came as a surprise to me.

Hi Tom,
Great SOTA article.
Just to let SOTA chasers know that Compounce Mountain which Stan WA1LOU is planning to activate dosen’t qualify for SOTA, I emailed Stan to let him know about it. Anyway good luck to Stan for his activation.

FB PR Dave. I caught this ealrier with a Google news alert. Well done.
Looks like listing the CT summits in W1 near the ARRL paid off

I think they were confusing SOTA (Summits on the Air) with SOTA (Secret Organisation of Terrorists and Anarchists)

Great PR for SOTA, maybe you could correct them (ARRL) Tom and submit an article for them to publish? Sean M0GIA

ROTFL
May I suggest a high factor sun cream, liberally applied and running shoes. I am all for saving Wales. Sorry, whales!

Please count W6 OUT of the nude whale thing.
