I’m going to head up to G/SP-015 for an hour or so of 6m operating. I may need to operate from the sheltered spot though which would severely hamper take-off.

One of them does!
When I got to the summit SB was still around, so putting a large beam 4m up a fishing rod was not viable.
I dropped down 5m beneath the cliffs. I could set up here, although there was very little room for the guys on the guying kit. The problem now was a very poor take off, completely blocked to the west. But it was either that or no activation.
I also only had about an hour due to working in Blackpool tonight, so it was a very token effort. I made 14 QSOs, all 6m SSB, most of them sheltering from heavy rain in the bothy bag.
Not quite sure why I went out at all; every factor was informing not to. But I felt like going out - and I’m glad I did!
I got half way up SP-004, before 50% of the walking group mutinied. To preserve my marriage we returned to the car. The cobwebs well and truly blown away!
It’s been mild and a little sunny here in Prague. Never seen so many tourists with selfie sticks like in the old town! Beer rather good.
