Advanced exam, March 2013

Does anyone know of somewhere in Wales, Northern England or the Midlands that is running an Advanced exam in March? I’m getting close to the cut off date (early Feb) and I haven’t found anywhere yet.

I only work portable, so I’m not on any other forums. I’ve also asked the RSGB and the places they have sent me to haven’t worked out. I’ve got another query in with them for Monday, but I’m spreading the net a bit wider now.

Any help gratefully received.

Telford and District ARS may help out Gerald.
http://www.tdars.org.uk/html/Training.html . Mike G3JKX is the trainer. You’ll have to visit him for a tutorial or two to check your progress.
G8XYJ, M0TYM and I all have gone this way and I joined TDARS as a thank you and because it’s a very good club

Harwell ARS are holding an exam on March 2nd, not sure if there are any places left though.

They are located near Didcot in Oxfordhire, so it might be out of your travelling range perhaps, but worth a try.
