I have made only a few fotos, but will put them on flickr when back home. When I came up I was busy setting up and when I left the visibility was realy bad. So please do not expect too much from my fotos.
The main problem on a fine day will be the tourists. The main plateu is not very large. I climbed down a little to be out of view of the main watch tower. I am not sure which direction this was, because I never saw the sun while up. There are huge rock boulders and you will find a place to fix a mast. In my case these rocks substracted at least a meter from my effective antenna hight. Therefore I would recommend a longer mast. Also your shortened vertical might be a good choice. You just have to find a way to prevent tourists from falling over the radials…
