Chuck, KE7JWP, and I will be attempting a Five Summit (Six Point Each) day this Friday, August 4, 2017. We will be on 146.520 - fm throughout the day. Below is our intended plan. Our intent is to knock out the more difficult peaks first. Much of this will be driving, but we expect to hike between 12-15 miles for the day. In particular, if road access is not possible to our first summit trailhead, we will pick this one up at the end of the day by attempting access from a different direction.

We will plan to use APRS. The comment should update as to which peak we are on, or attempting (e.g. 1 of 5, 2 of 5, etc).
If you are going to be around all day, but don’t necessarily want to listen all day, this might be a good time to try an App called Ham Alert (www.hamalert.org) This allows you to receive an email, push notification, or text message on pre-defined triggers (such as call sign) for when someone Spots
