On 1st December 2016 it will be 1 year since the LZ SOTA Association was made official. During that year, there were 84 activations from 7 regions, by 8 activators.
To celebrate the event and also make SOTA more popular among LZ HAMs, we have decided to issue a “1 Year LZ SOTA” Award. The conditions of the award are as follows:
1 Year LZ SOTA" Award
Issued by the LZ SOTA Association, in celebration of the 1st year since LZ SOTA went public.
It will be issued to Activators, Chasers and SWLs.
For Activators - At least 1 Activation of an LZ SOTA summit within the period of 01.12.2016 - 31.12.2016. The QSOs must be logged in the SOTA database (www.sotadata.org.uk).
For Chasers - At least 1 QSO with a station, activating an LZ SOTA summit within the period of 01.12.2016 - 31.12.2016. The QSOs must be logged in the SOTA database from both parties (www.sotadata.org.uk).
For SWLs - At least 1 QSO listened to, between a station activating an LZ SOTA summit and another station, within the period of 01.12.2016 - 31.12.2016. The QSOs must be logged in the SOTA database from all parties (www.sotadata.org.uk).
The award will not be issued to club callsigns, if such are used, but to the operator, who made the QSO.
The award will be free of charge and available only in electronic form (as a download).
